Maintanence of Blackshots Greens

As you are probably all aware due to the information being put out on Facebook the club no longer working with Roots2Shoots. This has all been explained in a recent email from Peter Bainton, but in short hand. The two clubs Thurrock and Grays Town were not impressed by the way Roots2Shoots have conducted themselves with no appearances at the greens since 27th January and with multiple attempts at contacting them via phone calls, texts and whatsapp, they did not reply. So from there the clubs concluded on ending their contract with the company and have looked elsewhere.

Contact has been made between a number of companies and was decided to contact Premier Sports Turf Contractors. However, they said it would be to expensive to for them to visit the greens 3 times a week, but would be willing to act as a Consultant. Therefore, the clubs have spoken to Gregg Luxford who is a member of Grays Town BC with a view of looking after the greens under the guidance of Adrian Smith of Premier Sports, of which both parties have accepted.
