In what has been a good season for the Drums ladies, they've seen themselves win the TALBA Division 1 league with a game to play.
In the competitions they have excelled too, with June O'Neill and Serena Madgewick getting to 2 county finals, including winning the County Pairs and adding in Michelle Squires to get runners up in the County Triples too. They then went on to Leamington for the Bowls England finals where they reached the quarter finals in the pairs, losing 19-20. Serena then managed to reach the semi final of the Junior Pairs with Jasmine Wilson. Stacey Fryer has reached the semi final of the County Unbadged Singles with her game against Pearl Furne from Hadleigh Bowls Club to be played on Sunday the 28th August at Saffron Walden Bowls Club. In the TALBA Competitions we again see a strong showing from the ladies with Michelle Squires making the Fred Bromley final with Mitchell Young (Springhouse) , the 2 Wood Singles and the Triples with Serena Madgewick and June O'Neill all on the same day.
